Will they be able to play off of each other and throw alley-oops in mid air and double-dunks, a la NBA Hangtime? Because that would be pretty great to watch.

Ahh, yep I see that now. My mistake.

Also, I think that's a beer at his feet in the uncropped version of this photo, no?

Yeah, I thought that was absurd. Kagawa is consistently played out of position. He's just not a winger, and doesn't improve the side much when he's played out-wide. At Dortmund, he was magical in the center of the park linking midfield and attack, and dictating pace and play.

Am I crazy or does this look like a...no, never mind. I'm crazy. Pay me no mind.

Yep. And I find the comment sections to be fascinating and, at times, downright hilarious. It seems like there's a good ideological mix there, as well.

The Premier League Review Show is superb. It's one hour of extended highlights from each game, usually featuring all the goals, some back-story and coaching news (including transfer speculation and a headlines round-up), and a review of the standings at the end. Did anyone else hear consummate American and self-appointed U.S. soccer Czar, Alexi Lalas, end the broadcast with this gem, "What a typical American win: tough defense, great offense and set pieces, they absorbed pressure well, that's what the U.S. is about and we should NEVER apologize for it." Brilliant.

Would that even work? How much 3rd-party saliva do you need to acquire in order to counteract the kind of spit deficiency that would prevent you even from speaking?

I could be wrong, but I think other than the leaked anonymous testing the MLB and the MLBPA did (which was for exploratory purposes and not meant to be used to dole out punishments) I don't think he's ever actually tested positive.

In my experience in and around Washington, DC, I've found that way too many people here believe that Yuengling A) is a local brew, B) is well worth the $6-$7/pint the over-priced bars here always manage to sell it for, and C) does not taste like rust-water. Living here can be difficult.
