For my off road vehicles regardless if its a Jeep or truck: lockers. Some have factory rear lockers, but add a front selectable locker. It does help a lot.

This is a good question. I’m not sure about the automated manual transmissions (automatic) but the manual transmissions can be pretty quick, especially if your not hauling a load. Skip a few gears every shift makes it even faster.  I’d imagine a day cab, short wheelbase, single rear axle would be fun.......and I’m off…
