Yeah, it’s pretty clear what it was if you read about some of the accounts of John E. Douglas, as well as Bryan Fuller’s comments, especially given how much they are playing with when events happened compared to real life.

If we’re going to question people’s punk credentials - I doubt there’s a single person old enough at the AV Club to be a punk or to talk about being a punk.
This article is petty.
If everything is seen as a valid criticism it surely undermines a judgement on what is truly reprehensible. It might even detract and normalise the very terrible behaviour of the Trump clan at times.
To be fair, as Lindsay mentions, the reveal in the last episode clearly implies that the series meant for it to be a revelation. Mind you, in keeping with the slightly odd episode structure, it’s a cliffhanger with little meaning if you haven’t already realised the details.
Interesting fact - just reading the book by Robert K. Ressler - Tench in the show - and the first six people they interviewed were much more high-profile than you’d expect from the series. Kemper was one of the initial six but by then they’d already interviewed Sirhan Sirhan and Charles Manson among others.

That’s been pretty kind to the book, it’s interesting but it’s a long way from an academic piece. As I said I think the dialogue improves dramatically once we get to the interviews - but I don’t remember people in the 70s talking to each other in general conversation the way these characters do. Maybe your experience…
I imagine it’s more to do with what the study expects to be revealed about David O Russell’s behaviour if the climate changes to one where more people have the opportunity to speak out about abuse.
The dialogue is extremely stilted, especially in the middle during the relationship building. It’s a surprisingly routine piece from Fincher and ai can see how the reviewer felt. There’s plenty of quality television you don’t have the staff time to cover. You’re embarrassing yourselves cover this.
Well Ozymandis is that world’s closest thing to a supervillian not an anti-hero. Watchmen ends in failure for the heroes and victory, for now, for the villain.
A friend of mine agrees
So what was with the gold memories and why did that colour bring back Morty’s mind...

Amongst one of the greatest collections of acting roles his performance in The Straight Story transformed that film, even for the few minutes he was there.
A Boys adaptation. Wong Kar-Wai making a tv show.
