How about for counter service restaurants where they delivery your food to your table? I always struggle with that one and end up on the 10%-20% side. The counter service ordering makes me think to tip less since all they do is deliver my food, but I never really can tell....

I find that it cooks rice better and more consistent. All I have to do is put the rice in, put the right amount of water and press on. 20 minutes later I have perfect rice every time. I never have to "check" the rice to make sure it's done, it's just done when the machine says its done.

I am slightly surprised the rice cooker isn't on this list. It's a great multi use tool that makes rice a no brainer. I use mine for steaming of veggies and all sorts of one pot meals.
