This type of car is never driven any distance by a non-owner. It's transported.

The News of the World was always going to lose this case, no question about it. Their subsequent comment that they "will remain committed to fighting for [their] readers' right to know" is both laughable and despicable — their readers have no right to know what goes on between consenting adults in private.

Interesting to see more & more software coming in from China.

I hated every previous incarnation of this tool so I doubt this one will be any better. I'll stick with locate32 and Copernic, thanks.

Wearing headphones while running on or near public roads is about as sensible as texting while driving.

This car gets uglier with each iteration. They must be thinking "how can we drive as many potential customers as possible into a Lexus IS or Infiniti G".

Has an exterior shape that the kids will love. But could they possibly take up any more interior space with the transmission tunnel?!

Not happening, no way. What's next? A wristwatch that turns into a hamster?

I wonder if those complaining about the Boxster/Cayman positioning in the Porsche lineup or complaining about its (alleged) lack of horsepower have actually spent much time in the seat of either car.

I think you should generally steer clear of any software that requires you to download and compile source code.

How about this: if your vehicle gets over 25 mpg highway then you can drive up to 80 mph in any lane; less than 25 mpg and you're barred from the left lane completely and limited to 65 mph.

To all you application developers out there: please keep out of my notification area (so-called 'system tray') except for notifications.

Not going to happen, at least not in any commercially-viable way.

No way this is selling for more than $50k over MSRP, and then only in the first year.

I'm guessing that this type of vehicle is now 'tested' at the Nurburgring simply because that's where the photographers *are* and that's how you most effectively leak pictures to the masses to generate interest.

I doubt that many serious Carrera S buyers are going to give the GT-R a moment's consideration. Similarly anything else made outside of Germany.

Affordable, economical, 5-door hatchbacks with folding rear seats and decent ride and performance ought to be on just about everyone's shopping list. They just make so much sense. Allied with a 6-cylinder, mid-engined coupe/convertible in the garage for weekends and you have the perfect combo.

What is the point of building the worst-quality highways in the industrial world, then posting 55mph or 65mph speed limits on them, then policing them to excess, and then creating cars like this and the Z06?
