Screw it, I'm looking forward to the game. There are too few great sci-fi games as there is (Gears of War and Bulletstorm really don't count) and this seems to have a bit of a noir aspect in the first screenshot that kinda reminds me of Blade Runner, but with aliens.

No they were specifically saying Susannah unless their sources were getting it wrong. Even then Susan would be in her teens and the rumors are around Carpenter who in no way would pass as one.

The rumor that has killed all enthusiasm for me in regards to the Dark Tower is the part where I heard Susannah would be white. So until I know for sure that they're not going to white-wash her, I'm holding off any hype I have for the movie.

That animated prequel was pretty good, too bad the movie itself looks like garbage.

Serenity is in no way the new-school. It has had no impact on the sci-fi genre unlike Star Wars which is beyond influential. The closer example would be Blade Runner which although released in the 1980's, has had a strong influential impact on TV and movies that can still easily be felt to this day through works

The better question is, when has it been good?
