So Serenity is Obama and Blade Runner is McCain?

In other words this will flop horribly.

Leagues better than the first trailer. The first one made it look like an okay movie that was probably going to flop. This on the otherhand looked great, especially with the pledge at the end.

Back to the Future is still really damn popular. Probably one of the most popular franchises in Sci-Fi. The 25th Anniversary re-showing in the theaters near my college was sold out.

Well the best way is if people are informed or not. So honestly a test would be the best way in that the people who vote have atleast seen a majority of the movies or atleast the pair of movies they are deciding between.

I don't really care anymore about who wins this. It just pisses me off that Serenity beat some of the movies that it did.

Serenity beat BttF,Terminator, and ET which are surely more popular in general. There is absolutely no criteria in this poll for who wins or not.

I saw Blade Runner a year ago in a sci-fi movie college course where they showed all the classics and some new ones and I can tell you that was the best movie of the class. Everybody loved it, sparked the best debates in the class, and everything held up remarkably well.

Bullshit. It's a decent movie on its own but it pioneers no ideas that other movies have done better and first. Alien contact? ET. Time travel? Back to the Future.
