I don't think the V12 is for getting you to 60 in 4.5 secs as much as it's for lugging around the extra weight the car picks up after a visit to Texas Armoring

This happened to me on the way back to LA from Vegas. The transmission wouldn't downshift and it labored the engine going up hills. Took it to the dealer and they couldn't find any problem, error codes or anything. I figured since it was so hot out in Vegas some circuitry overheated and caused it to malfunction. It's

97 Ford Ranger with fuel tank and tool box that's been beat to hell over the last 13 years (for commuting)

It should smell like chrome, tires and exhaust fumes with hints of Zebrano wood trim and leather

@stoke has a JDM front wing: The Insight weighs 2,730 lbs versus the Civic's 2,600. If they go with a mild hybrid system like every other Honda, the V6 hybrid drivetrain might weigh less than a V10. Plus it's a much simpler design than Toyota's and won't add as much complexity. Sure it would be better without the

@Syrax: and Yamaha built the V8 for the second gen SHO

@layabout returns: My aunt drives hundreds of miles every day for work so having the most fuel efficient car possible makes complete sense for her. She has seen the stupid South Park episode and makes jokes about herself being smug. So really she isn't smug at all. I should ask her if she's found any silver Unicorn

It's distinctive, pretty and recalls its heritage without being a retro rehash. Well done. I hope the next 9-3 is as cool.

@Δεν βρέθηκαν λέξεις: My family loved our 87 Taurus wagon in gunmetal gray. Then it went through 3 alternators and the rods started knocking. Replaced the engine and that one died after a month or so. That's when my parents decided our 5 member family could all fit in a two-door Integra.

03 PT Cruiser GT with autostick. It's not total crap but I don't like it. She loves it of course. Lots of cargo room. She doesn't know what a turbo is or even that it has one probably. Before that was a 99 Eclipse Spyder... gutless and the worst slushbox I've ever driven (my mom can't drive stick). Cowl shake like you

It looks like a coliseum to me. Instead of a mirror I want to see some motorized gladiator action.

"I am not a believer in re-branding and re-badging."

@asenna: I hope if they go through with this they style it like the RSA Lumina rather than the sheikh special Caprice. I don't really care what they call it but it would be cool if they let the Malibu take over for the FWD Impala and let this be the new Impala. Or change the FWD Impala's name back to Lumina.

Front: too much like the XF

@pauljones: I think the fact that it handles better with traction control on is symptomatic of the car not having the right tires or maybe too short of a wheelbase. Whatever the cause GM decided not to bother sorting out the handling and simply went after the highly profitable hairdressing boulavardier segment.

@WheatKing: and look about 17x more badass doing it

@Foo2rama: Some whackjob installed the engine over the rear wheels. Ralph Nader told me that's a no-no.

@Tyson: Yeah, they're standard equipment on this:

@Bullitt417: When a car kills someone it's usually a murder-suicide. Would you really want the corpse other than to part it out? Wow, this analogy works on so many levels…
