@wookie1901: I think the traditional method to stealing cars on the fly is to point a gun at the driver. So buyers who get this should probably also invest in bulletproofing their rollers.
Yeah, this design is deriviative, but it's a step forward from knocking off another design shamelessly. Pulling ideas from multiple sources and synthesizing them into a cohesive design is no small feat. Creating an orignal and innovative design is the next step, and I hope they reach it. This has been the traditional…
Also, the article makes it sound like the photos were taken in Tokyo City whereas the post states they were taken in Ann Arbor.
@graverobber: That's definitely a Hyundai Genesis unless it's a Solara masquerading as one. Well spotted.
Is this the latest Rinspeed concept? It's not as pretty as the squba.
@charles_barrett: The English language largely evolved from the Danish language with heavy influence from the various invaders of England, e.g. the Vikings, the Romans, the Normans, etc.

It looks like the orange version was the original considering the highlights on the rear quarterpanel. The very smooth and controlled highlights on the silver one makes me thinkit was shot in a studio.
My brother had '89 RS in dark red. I had a 92 Integra at the time. I was really excited when he let me borrow it for a few days because I thought "duh V8 + RWD = fun" but my Integra with its FWD I-4 was a riot compared to that nose heavy beast with its slow shifting 4-speed auto and reluctant to rev 305 motor.

I'm guessing this is an EV. Could this survive the streets anywhere? What happens when one gets T-boned by a Smart?
If only this were the tackiest thing in Nevada. Alas, Reno has much worse to offer.
nothing like a big vertical plane plowing through the wind. this thing could deplete the world's diesel supply too with its undoubtedly monstrous motor and .99 drag coefficient.
Looks kind of like the deathtraps that tourists rent to cruise around Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco.

last I heard this thing isn't coming to the US. I wouldn't trade my GTI for it anyway. It's not enough of a fastback; the compromise just kills useable space without delivering the right look. As for that diesel, maybe you'll be able to get it in Passat or something.
what's the equation for the can am spyder?
@Lotucris: pilarless coupes pretty much died when the crash testers thought "oh hey what happens if it gets hit from the side?"
