Eh? Looking up at the plate after stepping out of your room the first time was one of my biggest “wow” moments early game.

Sounds like your beef is specifically with dungeon design and padding? I can sort of see that. I enjoyed the extra content, but Hojo’s Lab sure did drag on and on.

What stood out the most to me was the view of the slums from above. There’s an entire segment based around rickety scaffolding high above the ground that encourages you to look down and it’s just... bad repeating textures.

Pretty sure R&C games come out a lot more often than that.

How do you see instanced neighborhoods being worse? Seems like a decent compromise if done right. You don’t have limited space (which, in a game where housing is a core feature, isn’t an option), but you still have interaction with people around you.

Did he rile them up? I’ll admit I’m outside on this one. I just know that in a fanbase this size, even “99.9% great fans” means “0.1% very loud and terrible people fans” that still equals thousands of unstoppable howling shitgibbons.

The hunting areas are the only thing I’d count as a grind/slog. And the reward for those is entirely skippable. Everything else is at least decent in side-story content, and a lot of it plays into the finale, with friends you’ve made coming back in.

I suspect that’s an understatement. If it’s anywhere near the point where HZD released their first “vertical slice” preview like the one we just got for HFW, we’re a year and a half from release. Fall/Holidays 2022.
