EA is on course to make a *billion* dollars in net profit this year. Net. This is not “make some money or get laid off”, this is “executives need a new gold-plated yacht”.

I mean, you’ve accidentally highlighted what’s being complained about here. The timeline and budget for this are shoestring. It’s not dev lazyness, it’s publisher greed, like it always is.
