A small niche Kickstarter ends up accidentally making millions? Handpainted and handmade dice?
A small niche Kickstarter ends up accidentally making millions? Handpainted and handmade dice?
A Kickstarter being this successful is a huge problem.
For the discerning consumer tired of prying Legos out of their insole.
+1
I do not personally know any TTRPG players who actually care about perfectly balanced dice and I’ve been DMing for almost 20 years. They exist sure, if you go on amazon and look at dice, you’ll find reviews of people who’ve actually evaluated sets for accuracy, but we’re talking a really marginal case here.
Oof. Congratulations to her but I can’t imagine waiting almost 2 years for a set of dice. They do look gorgeous but I guess I’ll just hope that some day she’ll have a booth at Pax Unplugged.
Ok crafty Kotaku readers, you know what must be done. Custom pink seat covers for Fahey’s power chair. Go!
Or, how about we just don’t shame women (or anyone) for taking and sharing nude photos of themselves? As long as everyone is consenting, who cares? They’re adults, they can do what they want. Lets shame the people who leak this stuff and try to use it as leverage.
uhh probably
It just makes me wonder if the guy had been 25, would your headline read “Florida Millennial Caught on Video Cutting Brake Lines of Public E-Scooters”?
Plus it’s not hydraulic nor actively powering the brakes so why the hell does it cost $70 to repair whats essentially a bicycle cable?
My guess would be they don’t fix them on the spot, but even if they did:
- replacement part cost
- wage of worker to do the repair (prob 1-2 hrs including drive time to and from central depot)
- a fraction of the yearly vehicle upkeep/gas expenses
$70 is actually a pretty fair quote
The Boomers hated on their parents. Called them squares and said they didn’t get it. So now, it’s what goes around, comes around. Circle of life and whatnot.
He’s an asshole, but I understand the hatred of these.
People still buy CD’s?
I’m a loser because I don’t have kids and don’t watch sports on TV?
I don’t think you’re getting all that for $6.99, which is just for Disney. They mentioned a package with Hulu and ESPN+, but the price for that won’t be just $6.99.
Did you notice the $6.99 price before you commented?
these companies don’t learn. People were paying for services already. Making it more crowed is just going back to the way things were. Torrents here I come (again).
If I had grown up in Japan in the late 90s I apparently would be a hardened criminal by now what with my AIM hijinks. This is about as malicious a prank as telling someone alt+F4 does something cool. Maybe less malicious.
