As someone who works for a car dealership (thank goodness, one of the better ones as far as how they treat customers and employees), I have to ask how the titlework works in this case? Like we try to flip the title quick and get the car registered asap, especially with out of state deals every day counts.  Interesting

That beautiful front end styling is going to get absolutely neutered by pedestrian crash safety laws.  But at least we can admire the rendering

Can you even imagine if someone gave those of us in the US a mid-engine hot hatch a la Renault R5 or Clio V6???  That would be a dream come true

All solid advice. I always counsel my customers to put as little down as possible on a lease. Some people...don’t, but at least I try!

Appreciate the mentioning that dealers usually have their cars marked down a ton already on 90 day units.  Customers will walk because a car wasn’t discounted any more for them

Uhhh, Daniel Stern knows his shit. I bought some Cibies from him a bunch of years back, and he thoroughly consulted me to make sure what I was ordering was actually what I needed. He is very knowledgeable and takes it all very seriously.

It’s still a Ferrari 333 SP, regardless of if it’s a Dallara or Michelotto chassis

I could see someone paying $10,000.  I voted nice price but I change my mind!

Would you like to take a guess at which logical fallacy you’ve committed

When I was born in 1980, my parents had just one car:  a ‘79 Spitfire.  They put my little baby carrier with me in it, turned sideways, in the yellow area behind the seat.  Safety!

Yeah it was confirmed, but like only loosely.  The last car was in production for sooooooooo loooooooong and there were a lot of ups and downs in that, and I’ll believe it when I see it :)

Right now I’m feeling pretty safe in thinking there will never be a next-gen 86/BRZ

I was thinking of either him or Magnus Walker!

I have a friend who is looking for a specific type of car, and I suggested (I’m a Subaru salesperson) that she look at a Stinger. She’s a grown ass lawyer woman, and they wouldn’t let her test drive one at the local KIA store (base model AWD)! I had to then explain that yes, the cars are really nice now, but the

I’m a 10+ year Subaru salesperson, 39 years old, good with tech, and I’m struggling with hiding my disdain of the new giant display in the 2020 Subaru Outback and Legacy.  Things that used to take one button push without looking down now require many touches on the screen.  It’s very frustrating, and I cannot for the

This is truly your opus; it would be made better only by knowing that they didn’t (couldn’t figure out how?) to edit it.

You might not have caught this the first time around, but it was a fad in the early 2000s. Trying to find an example, oddly hard to search for. I saw a lot of euro Fords and VWs, newer models where like one fender, or the hood, would be dipped in something to make the whole thing an even coat of rust.

I mean, Alanis is leaving Jalopnik, so cut her a break man

It seems to be more of a metaphor about going from rags to riches.  Or something

I enjoy the NPOCP’s where I just see the title and immediately scroll to the bottom to vote.  Now, to go back up and read!
