Try to look at a franchised dealer for one with a manufacturer CPO warranty. At least in our case, when we have to go to auctions to supplement our inventory, we pick the nicer graded ones.

It might be the dad-with-two-kids in me talking. I follow tons of overland and bikepacking wanderers on Facebook and man, that seems like the life.
I am torn- is it bad to judge him for choosing to rely on a Discovery at a time of such financial strain, or should I give kudos to him for his jalop spirit and the ability to fulfill his wanderlust dreams?
1st Gear: I had 9 freaking sales this month, and it was a grind for all of them. I want to forget January existed
I’ve seen those too, and yeah, it can be pause for concern, but the vast majority (probably 99.9999%) are as described by the two commenters above you.
When I first started selling cars, I used to be like “eww, ex-rental” when I’d see them in our inventory, but then I realized that they more often than not were better…
It never ends well. When I see customers pull up in a Dodge Journey to the dealership I work at, the usual response from the salespeople is “oh, oh no...”
They are usually flipped a LOT of dollars. Like, a lot.
Interesting.
...why is why it’s the size of a current Impreza car if the Impreza had a wagon, because the Impreza nowadays is as big as the ‘05-’09 Legacy.
They got fat like every other midsize car. People always talk about how they miss the ‘05-’09 Legacy and Outbacks, yet when I started selling in ‘08 I had to sell the crap out…
I always read these Tracy posts because they fascinate me, but some of them just fill me with anxiety. I need to go read a Peter Monshizadeh post to balance me out now
Not to nitpick, but the Levorg is not a Legacy wagon- the Outback is literally a Legacy wagon, you can still get the Legacy wagon in parts of Europe and maybe elsewhere. The Levorg is kinda like halfway between Impreza and Legacy size. More like a proper Impreza wagon as opposed to the hatchback that we call a wagon.

This is probably what the engineers said who found out they were going to work on a new performance product but then realized it was for an Edge.
I imagine it’s the same response as the engineers tasked with making the Dodge Caliber SRT.
“Good news gang, we’ve selected you to take the helm on our latest hot compact!”

We did actually end up getting that Astra in the U.S. as a Saturn, but it too did not sell at all. I had a coworker who had one, and he was the most annoying man in the world, and I eventually associated that with the Astra itself.

I was going to copy and paste their disclaimer about how they aren’t an actual news website but they won’t let you copy any of the text. l337
That second video is amazing, what with the dude just spewing smoke everywhere and continuing to race until he’s flagged, and the winner ghost riding his whip at the end hahaha
So much room for more battery!!!
