100% Tornado Red, never was much of a question (although I would’ve considered white if I had to - it’s pretty sharp). To be honest, I think the Alltrack looks good in every color. I am not bothered by the different black and silver trim pieces - I think it makes each color look unique. For the interior, I chose

Please, I do that anyway.

Good on you...keep pushing that MPG up! I will own an Alltrack soonish, will be interesting to see how I do. It will be a stick shift like yours.

Some of the Automotive Journals have noted GTI’s getting up to 40mpg on the highway with the manual. It won’t convince my wife to learn to drive stick, but it’s nice to hear real-world-results beating out what it says in the brochure.

There’s some consensus that the Mk7 computer is about 7% optimistic in terms of MPG. So, subtract 2-3 MPG from the indicated number. I know I’m being negative...just wanted to point that out. Still decent mileage, but IMO not mind-blowing for highway numbers on a 4-cylinder.

That’s cool. I’ve found my highway numbers to be unreal, but the reality of my short, but very mixed commute has me averaging 26.24 MPG since I bought my car (I chart all my mileage with gas receipts). It’s an improvement of about 2.25 MPG over my 2000 Impreza.

I brought home the Great Falls Green GTI SE with the plaid cloth interior and 6 speed manual. That build is rarer than an honest politician but I finally found one. And now she is home to keep my little Miata Roadster happy in the garage. However the AllTrack with the Marrakesh Brown interior was lovely, it just was

I would gladly take one in Great Falls Green, such a nice color in person.

Recently bought a loaded 2018 SP 4Motion Con Manuel.

By that time we won’t be allowed to drive ourselves. Everyone will have a self-driving crossover powered by emotions. So cry, I think, if we want to get to work on time.

Mike, I don’t have the right words. So I’ll just say get well soon. We’ll be excited to have you back, but take your time to recovery fully. Until then, I’ll be thinking of you as I type away on my mechanical keyboard (MX Blues, BTW, to annoy my coworkers).

Hmmmm, why change the title when the comments roast the look, Mr. Tracy? Express your opinion!

Hundo P, the red flag went up with the front end being molested, the non-R seats? Forget it.

Disagree. This law is fantastic. It shouldn’t just be a pull over for faster traffic rule. OK is ahead of the curve on this one.

Gone are the days when my Legacy GT Wagon would make bros in flat-brims driving hot hatches, shat themselves with embarrassment as they got beaten to the punch by a wagon with 4 people in it and snowboards on top.

Fun subaru, we will miss you.

Hey guys, remember when the Forester was actually cool?

It’s like catching up with a friend from college who now has 3 kids, no sleep and drinks Michelob Ultra once a month to “loosen up”. Subaru, what happened friend?

The Postal Service has very specific requirements for durability/longevity, cargo volume, exterior dimensions, turning circle, etc., and the volume they plan to purchase is large enough to justify a manufacturer developing a unique vehicle. Trust me, if a Transit Connect or Promaster City could have been modified to

Did Trumpsterfire promise to save manufacturing or just coal? I can never remember which delusions he said out loud.
