The Daisenryaku series is a very in-depth strategy game, and is much more closer to a wargame that you may play on a huge map on a table for three weeks straight than it is to a videogame. Those of us who like this series like it because it simply is one of the best turn-based strategy series around.

Not necessarily. If you keep the same resolution as you increase the size of the display, the pixels get larger and larger. Considering that I can see individual pixels on my 23" 1080p monitor, and that that screen looks to be around 40"-50", I'm sure the higher resolution does result in a much better picture.

To answer your question, yes, some of us did. I think that may be why we're upset about this.
