Greetings. Your diatribe celebrating April Fools Day customs was interesting, and as usual, entertaining and well written. I sort of learn something new from everything of yours I read.

When I make brownies from a mix, I always substitute butter for the oil and milk for the water. Adds a lot of flavor. Then, if I have it, I get some mint from my garden, chop that up and add it to the mix. This works with most premade brownie mixes. The sesame sounds like a great touch. Will be trying that soon.

iMac 3.4 ghz, 16 gb memory. I like my mac, but have seen lots of slow downs with Catalina. I should say spotty performance, fast , slow, ... I just wish apple would focus more on performance. The Mac OS doesn’t need dozens of new features. It needs to be optimized for good performance. Getting very tired of the spinning wheels that have been coming with these new updates.. You know you’ve got a problem when a $ 400 windows box can out perform an $ 1800 Mac....

I can see how this is a thing for people who don’t grow food, but if you have space to grow veggies, price is not really a factor. Seeds are cheap compared to the value of what they produce, all the beans being talked about here can easily be grown.

I’ve actually grown some of these varieties of beans. They’re even better fresh off the vine. The same goes for other varieties of heirloom vegetables. GH
