Again, T-E-X-A-S. Rural Texas no less. Did people really expect him to be a Democrat?  He wasn’t supporting Trump specifically.  He was just donating to various Republican candidates.

What exactly did he do? The first and last thing that happened was that someone dug up his tax records, saw he made donations to conservative candidates (while living in Texas no less), and he decided to retire before the mob went after his family.

Trilogy collections are typically in the $50-$60 range. Pretty sure that was the case with Halo Master Chief Collection, Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, Super Mario 3D All Stars, etc. Heck, if you go even further back, Super Mario All Stars on the SNES probably stuck to that pricing at launch as well.

Even the updated lighting and textures alone look really good.

I like the idea behind it. Give people a lore book, let them play in the world, then curate the best content into an ongoing narrative. It’s kind of like a tabletop campaign with a hands off GM.

Just going to remind everyone that we ARE getting Lego Sonic the Hedgehog.

That was my thought with Animal Crossing as well.  Have sets for the iconic locations, such as the Museum and Nook’s Cranny, some smaller sets, like a fishing pier, beach, or bridge, and blind bag villagers that include different outfits and accessories.  As you said, most of the villagers use the same body types,

Lego has been rejecting Zelda sets since 2012. This one probably isn’t much different. But considering their recent collaboration with Super Mario, who knows.

I’m thinking something other than Minifig scale would have a better shot. Currently, there’s a BOTW Link brick build that got a Staff Pick award.

More than likely, the final design will be drastically different than the pitch design. For reference, here’s the Steamboat Willie pitch that was approved.

I think the main issue is that Zelda characters just don’t look good as minifigures. Either they use complex custom pieces, like the initial pitches from 2012, or use so many generic pieces that it becomes indistinguishable from a Knight set, like the one above. My advice would be to try a microbuild scale set. It

The main difference here is that they’re saying that the NFT may grant access to the Hellraiser DLC, which does tie it to the game somewhat.

Guessing they had this deal in place before Steam announced their policy change.  Still hope that Valve cracks down on them for this.

Fukunaga is a man in the Japanese drama. He crossdresses during his first appearance, but is male during the rest of the series.

I really hope that judges start calling out all these shock and outrage cases for the marketing BS that they are.

Wouldn’t be surprised if someone picked it up. I recall Crunchyroll had the series, and a listing for The Final Stage on Netflix comes up when I search, although it leads to an empty page.

Yeah, it wasn’t ‘streaming’ in the modern sense, but they would update their website with a new episode each week.

The fact that the New Horizons expansion was included is interesting. That leads me to wonder if it’s setting a prescient for including DLC for future games, or if it’s just there to pad out what’s already there.

Apparently season 2 of The Quest completed filming back in March. Disney+ should get it at some point.

I also remember The Real Gilligan’s Island, Pirate Master, Who Wants to be a Superhero, and The Quest being more immersive.  It was part competition, part LARP.  If someone used a twisted Gameshow as a premise for something like that, I’d watch it.
