“For example, some organizations, like Fextralife, embed their streams in popular wikis and other high-traffic pages to make it appear as though tens of thousands of people are watching, even though they’re really just scrolling right on by.”

That’s what I thought too. If there’s supposed to be some kind of narrative, then show us some cutscenes or voice acting. What’s the progression like? Is it level based, or are we replaying the same levels over and over to unlock new songs and skins? I think it relied too much on us knowing who Aerial_Knight as some…
I think Nick is trying to keep their focus on the newest incarnation of the series, which is why none of the older games are available. As for this one, nolstalgia sells. The generation that grew up with it now have expendable income.
They’re different types of distopian. Apple moderates its content because they’re fully aware people under 18 use their products and don’t want to draw a few government crackdown due to their negligence.
Kinda blows my mind how big this game has been. It’s a franchise where every character looks similar, has similar weapons, and is based on a comic exclusive story that mainstream audiences likely haven’t heard of. Despite the rocky launch, it’s recovered pretty well!
Wasn’t this pretty much Microsoft’s strategy for Xbox? It was a huge gamble, but look how that turned out in the end.
Alright, so you’ve made a solid case on why Amazon is a terrible company. Now, will you, G/O Media, remove your affiliate links to put your money where your mouth is?
The tournament arc was pretty short. No fight lasted more than an episode, and most of the cast some some time in the spotlight.
The ending cutscene is context specific, and accounts for what you’re doing when the timer is up. There just aren’t scenes for wire bugs or wall running yet.
Geez, if only there was another platform where being in a scantily clad bikini was considered acceptable. If Only there was a place their Fans could see that content.
Agreed. Even the when you first register with the Guild, the guy in the hub says that they don’t have you take a test any more. I think the game was designed so that series vets could jump right in. The only required tutorial is where you learn how to mount your dog and use the zip bugs, which is a new feature for all…
First, practice with the weapon you want to use. There’s a sparring area that shows you the specific mechanics of each weapon. Personally, I use the duel blades.
Hopefully they’ll find a nice balance between traditional and pop culture. Japan is so much more than Mario, Anime, and weird game shows.
The trend here is that once a streamer is getting sponsors, merch, and a corporate overlord, they should stop accepting money from the little guy. Pretty sure that's been the case since they reported that the Pokegirl stopped accepting donations.
Very true. There are people that are both board and have money to burn.
So, they pretty much turned it from Bejeweled into Puzzles and Dragons.
Seems like a pretty interesting idea. With how much I use the vending machine at work, a subscription would probably save some money. Just wish we had the variety of Japanese vending machines.
I'd say that this is one of the games that fits with Stadia. I mean, if you have to connect to a server anyways, they may as well send the whole game.
Give Splatoon 2 a shot. There’s no in game voice chat, so you don’t have to worry as much about being paired with toxic asshats. Rounds are short (3-6 minutes, depending on the mode), so you don’t need to worry about leaving mid match. You can also block players through the Switch OS, so you don’t get paired with them…
Have you tried picking it up yourself? If you get the timing right, you can arrive just as they finish prepping it. If you don’t mind eating in the car, you can still get your burger.
