To be fair, sometimes product can be in short supply. Awhile back, I ordered one of the main Humble Bundle deals at the highest tier. The physical goods included a mini magazine, a vinyl record, a VHS style box, and a pin. Due to supply issues, they had to delay the record. Of course the world wasn’t short on vinyl.

It’s really better to go off the beaten path in BOTW. You only have a few main quests, so exploration is where most of the enjoyment comes from.

A bit of a misleading lifehack. For digital codes, you get Gold Coins equal to the current eShop price. So if you buy and use the code before the eShop sale ends, you get the same amount.

What they should have done is put all three parts in a single map, and gradually fill in activities with each DLC release, just like they did with the main campaign.

It’s becoming more common for games. Rocket League had an EULA you were forced to sign after purchase. Taiko no Tatsujin on the Switch also had one.

Aother notable exception is 2012's Jak and Daxter Collection.  The first game didn't have any subtitles at all.

I can confirm the first three for Eevee. There’s a Ringmaster NPC in one of the early Pokemon Centers that will teach the moves to Eevee. I taught mine Buzzy Buzz, but still had the option to teach the other two moves, if I wanted to. I think they can only be taught once though.

Meanwhile, there were three pokeballs on the table in Oak’s lab. The one on the left is your Rival’s Eevee/Pikachu. The center is where your Pokemon hops off to after you catch it. The one on the right will forevermore be neglected and unknown.

It works in this case because the card isn’t being drawn from a deck.  They could just as well use figurines.

Card? Something that size should just be printed on play mat material, so you can roll it up.

I kind of take the opposite approach with Legacy games. They’re meant to be played through once.

I disagree. The humanoid Pokemon at least look somewhat natural.

Touch controls are also an option on the Switch.

Mostly. They give you a few units, and it’s possible to play through the game with just them.  Aside from one tutorial, they also never prompt you to open the shop.  You could effectively shut out the gatcha, and still have a good game.

It’s been tried. In most cases, the game doesn’t get enough in sales to be seen on the app store, outside the premium section. Minecraft is a notable exception.

Total bull, considering stores like Target and Walmart have isles for Collectibles, yet put the CoD Megablox right next to the ‘toy’ Lego sets.

Overall, it doesn’t look like Skybound Games haven’t done much development work themselves. This likely means that they acquired the episodes in progress from Telltale, and will contract the remaining work to some of the laid off employees.

The other companies are hiring the staff, not Telltale.

Avoiding the inevitable class action lawsuit when Season 4 buyers demand refunds.  As long as episodes 3 and 4 come out, then Telltale can say they fulfilled their obligation to buyers.

While I also liked how it was Spider-man’s New York, I also found it a bit odd that every other hero was out of town the same week as a supervillain breakout, a plague outbreak, and Fisk’s arrest. Is Spidey really the hero on the NYPD speed dial?
