I felt that pain as well.  Especially since the (likely) first boss you fight dies when the floor collapses, so you expect something similar.  At the very least, I hoped that I would return to find the skylight already collapsed, so I could skip to the second phase.  Nope.  It did make the victory all the sweeter

Whetstones!  Get your Whetstones here!

Pigs, Mushrooms, Slimes, Microphones, Golems, etc.  The art style was pretty cool, and the areas were diverse.  I recall there was an entire dungeon based around a shopping mall.

I actually had a similar experience, although less personal. I rejoined the game after a few years and found the mentor system. Essentially, you could adopt a player within a certain level range of you and take them in as your Junior.  I hung around Lith Harbor looking for players to help, and eventually, one clicked

That’s because while previous games each had a single set of simple mechanics, this one uses all of those mechanics together, depending on what combination of animatronics you use.  It’s possible to only use enemies that relate to the cameras and doors. Then you wouldn’t need to use the vents or mask at all.

I can’t really see the combat as anything but Arkham at this point. It’s so simple, but the flow and chaining feel so right. Spiderman also feels like a dodge and counter type, so it suits him just fine.

That’s when you pop some rad-X, get your power armor, and lie in wait for them to loot ground zero. Then you exact your revenge.

Couldn’t they just find another silo and nuke that settlement? Building a large scale fortress anywhere is just asking for someone to drop a bomb on it.

They made it sound like this is the vault opened after the bombs dropped. It would stand to reason that there are no pre-exiting settlements.

They said that every person in the game is a real player, so I’m guessing there won’t be much in terms of settlements and quests.

Essentially, the crapsack world we see in the other games wasn’t caused by WWIII. It was caused by two groups of rivals griefing each other with nukes 25 years later. Thanks Vault Tec!

I’m not so sure how I feel about Jump Force. It looks like they took the dark realistic look from Sonic Forces and applied it to Shonen. It’s also an interesting choice that they went with an American city, rather than Tokyo. By the looks of it, it’ll probably be a fighting game, but I’m hoping for something along the

You should more or less be fine. Just don’t focus on the big picture too much. I’m sure there were plenty of people who enjoyed Kingdom Hearts II who didn’t play Chain of Memories and still somehow pieced the story together.

Does the 3DS version have the same fully voiced cutscenes as the Switch version? I played the demo with both the male and female lead, but held off on a full purchase because I didn’t know how deep the game went in terms of strategy and online play.

They’ll probably get some time on site. Nintendo’s presentation is on the 12th at 9 AM. This is likely where we’ll see the first gameplay. After that, the demo floor will open to attendees where Smash will be one of the available games. My guess is that this is when the contenders will be given access to the game in a

I think I may ask for that Tuesday off from work, so I can watch the Direct live.

In the LEGO games, Superman is literally immortal. You can’t die as him. This is probably so your kid brother won’t lose all your hard earned studs by dying every 10 seconds, but still...

It’s a bit of both I think. I recall playing with cans that were about as big as a can of soup. Now I mostly see ones that contain as much as an egg of silly-putty.

If only there were more Epic Mickey games. That series hit the true classic Disney stuff.

Not as much in recent games. Birth by Sleep had Zack from Crisis Core, but Dream Drop Distance didn’t feature any Final Fantasy characters if I recall correctly. It did feature the cast from The World Ends With You, which I hope returns in the new game.
