If people would leave a gap for others to merge there wouldn’t be any slamming on the brakes.

If they are blocking a lane they are in the wrong. My daily commute has an off-ramp that the right lane ends onto. Traffic backs up in that lane, some assholes will fly all the way up to the end in the middle lane and then suddenly slow and throw on the blinker in front of interstate traffic. Those jerks need to be

They only stopped because a jackass decided he needed to win that position at the moment and refused to give an inch.

If people leave room for others to merge there isn’t a reason for anyone to slam on the brakes.

It’s assholes who refuse to let anyone merge that cause the backups and sudden slow downs.

At what point before the lane ends is the proper point to merge? A mile, 1000ft, 500ft? The merge should be very close to the ending of the lane, for everyone. Everyone piling into the open lane way to soon is what causes that lane to crawl resulting in the “dick” driving up the closing lane. Also, the dicks in the

If they weren’t worried about some dick not giving an inch and allowing them to merge then they wouldn’t merge at the soonest opportunity.

If it only needs to be an ad to be distributed they can simply design on in 3d software and never actually build anything. Would be much less expensive.

The Rav4 has less ground clearance than the Corolla. I’m sure other CUVs are just as low as their sedan cousins.

Interestingly enough, the Rav4 has less ground clearance than the Corolla.

Pretty much, they pay more for higher seating position, easier to get their out of shape butts in and out off. The extra storage is probably not meaningful, sure they say it’s a must have but is most likely used very infrequently.

Market share is important. Once they lose their place in the sedan market it won’t matter if they can bring models back quickly.

Or trade for a newer compact sedan, while they still exist, and get much better fuel mileage.

Bingo!

I will not feel one bit of sadness when Ford is nearing bankruptcy within 10 years. This is beyond idiotic.

Given the lack of contrary evidence on AV’s, I’m forced to accept the only data presented to me, which states that autonomous vehicles travel further distances between incidents than humans do.

You’re the one that claimed the average AV was more competent than the average human driver, something you didn’t support with evidence.

Fewer visits at a higher cost per visit.

Let it die.

I’m waiting for H-D to become foreign owned, maybe China. The collective heads of the H-D demographic exploding will be fun to watch.
