What mission is that?

Absolutely, I pickup with a 6 foot bed is beyond stupid, mind as well get a SUV and a trailer.

Or just a tool to get from A to B? Which is what a vehicle is.

The Rav4 gets tough, with black plastic everywhere.

Wow, my wife and I insure three vehicles for less than $1200 a year, and she has incidents on her record. I have nothing on mine, but damn, people in other parts of the country are getting screwed.

The cost of rent in a lot of places almost takes out the whole $1160. This was studied, there are something like 12 counties in the country where you can reasonably live on minimum wage.

Good points.

Housing, food, utilities, and transportation (public or private).

I’m now beginning to feel you’ve been trolling this whole time. Congratulations, well done.

Wow, you’ve went off the fucking reservation.

First, inflation has already well outpaced the minimum wage. Back when minimum wage had more buying power, none of the doomsday scenarios you describe happened.

They are paid $7.25 an hour, what the fuck do you expect? I don’t expect great service from someone who’s employer thinks so low of them they will pay them less per hour than the meal I am buying.

What the literal fuck. What mental gymnastics did you do to come to that conclusion?

Your describing a poor employee, if someone doesn’t do the job properly then they shouldn’t have the job. If a burger flipper can’t make burgers he won’t keep that job either.

Wow, some people, as in general, are not worth $7.25/hr? Maybe we should just force those people to work for free, I believe we tried that and agreed it was awful.

Nope, talking about fast food. Those working in real restaurants aren’t much better off.

Some people just want basic transportation at the lowest cost. I’m sure I’m in the minority but I don’t buy a vehicle I don’t plan on keeping for 5+ years. I keep them until they fall apart.

I wish I could give you more stars. Too many egos and self worth are tied to their paychecks. How much work and effort they put into their careers isn’t that special.

Exactly, all these people whining about the pay of an auto worker but I guarantee you they wouldn’t actually do the job.

Most all vehicles are of comparable quality these days, that Spark will last as long as a Malibu. If a 5 year loan on one is OK why wouldn’t it be on the other?
