Which is completely backwards. As a pedestrian, outside being hit off the roadway, it should be your responsibility to not get hit. Pedestrians have full field of view, no blind spots, can stop and change direction near instantly, a vehicle cannot.
Most of the cars used in street racing probably couldn’t pass tech inspection.
And our economy is stronger and larger than theirs. Wonder why?

Danica had an opportunity in a top caliber car with full backing. This driver has never had that same opportunity and is just scraping by. Surely you can see the difference and why drivers would help him?

If you work full-time it should pay a living wage. That means it should pay enough to afford rent, utilities, transportation.
I pity anyone who would pay the kind of money these cars fetch just to watch it sit in a garage.
Where talking about the US. The evidence is plain as day, corporations in the US do not reinvest tax savings where politicians say they will while selling the tax plan.
And can they please enforce headlights on at dusk and when it’s raining.
Like I said, join them if it’s so glamorous. Just consider yourself lucky you don’t work 50-60 hours a week and still qualify for welfare as many do.
Find the money? Hmmm, I seem to remember a President recently committing to $1.5T of added debt over 10 years. Now what was this spent on? Infrastructure? Defense? Education? Tax breaks for wealthy businessmen, like himself?
Based on this example the only good solution is more tax breaks. That should raise plenty of new revenue to pay for these tunnels. /s

Gerrymandered districts are in place and they’ll just redraw to keep GOP candidates elected.
No one is penalizing anyone. Our country requires revenue to operate, to foster an environment that allows people to become millionaires. It is not punishment to require those with far greater disposable income to shoulder a heavier burden.
