Preposterous. The LX is definitely preferable because it had a FAR better chance of being taken care of well during it’s early life.

Preventative Maintenance. Just about noone gets into a truck like this and does these kinds of mods with this level of quality without doing a TON of other maintenance. Guarantee you this thing is in better shape than most modern trucks underneath

As someone who has owned 2 of these, thats WAY WAY more than 3000 dollars in mods. Think 6-7 minimum, not to mention preventative maintenance and standard replacements which is absolutely 100% par for the course with someone who would do these kinds of mods.
