Ooh yeah, and cleansing

Serious leisure could also be called ‘making memories’ - if it’s with a friend or family member. And it is very good advice - because the times I do “nothing” (or read a book per day and bake - both hobbies I enjoy so much they’re not work) I feel guilty - AND like I’ve done ‘nothing’ even thought I haven’t. One thing

Ugh.  I am way too old for this, but I’m totally gonna watch.

Every time i’ve purchased things on Amazon under their warehouse deals or used/open box... they’ve been mint. Huge savings. Every time they mention that the item is used, the box has been opened,... AND... that there’s cosmetic damage to the item. Never once has there been any cosmetic damage.

My recap was totally on point, couldn’t have nailed my listening habits any better unless it included my complete binge of the Papercuts discography in November but that’s understandable. That said, my Best of the Decade For You has plenty of songs I have absolutely never listened to. I can’t tell on mobile what that

Have you ever left it playing while in another room? I know they recently added a feature (I think you had to opt-0ut, too) where, instead of playing the next song from your library / playlist, it would automatically find a new song that was liked by users with similar taste.

This. In my 20's I gave up on finding new music, just set Pandora to bands I liked. I had just decided “I guess I’m an old man now, and we don’t like new things”, but since I’ve been checking Spotify’s Discover Weekly playlist that’s curated for me, I find 100s of new songs I love every year, from bands I never would

Or you could just tell Chrome to “Ask where to save each file before downloading” and then organize as you download.

I live in Minnesota. I always put my old parka in my car starting in November as well as a pair of snow boots, snow pants, hat, and gloves. No matter what I wear, I always have the reassurance that I have a warm jacket and boots in the car.

An old overcoat works to keep you warm, and it will also keep your clothes clean(er) if you have to crawl under your car and wire up a muffler or place a jack.

This movie was so fucking unwatchable.

I can’t wait to hear what terrible accent they’ll cook up for the third lookalike.

Don’t get too hyper-focused on your score right now - I know it’s hard to get distracted by it, but focus on the long-term benefit. Consolidating gives you a lower interest rate or a more manageable monthly payment, right? Your score will go back up over time, and your finances will be healthier to boot. You’re doing

I have a question unrelated to utilization. Three months ago I paid off my car loan and refinanced my student loans. Altogether, I went from 13 loans to 1. My credit took a huge dip, but the number of loans I have remains unchanged. It seems like I got dinged big time for reducing the number of loans I have, but

the only cruise i would ever do is a viking river cruise. this is because their ads before PBS Masterpiece always made me want to be an elegant retiree gliding along the rhone with my aging but still dashing lawyer husband while taking in the sights of ancient europe, but also because it’s a river so if the boat

I expected this to come in Evil Week. Are we cancelling Evil Week? Please don’t cancel Evil Week. We like Evil Week.

Awesome stuff!! I love these grammatical hints. Sort of like the one for when you use “He and I” and “She and me”.

Hi Snoggler,

So, this seems like an appropriate article to post this... I suppose. I'm curious to know if any readers have had a similar experience to mine, and what they did to break themselves of it; it's vaguely like the above article, but to more of an extreme.
