Exactly. 30 pills a month for 1-2 times more sexual encounters per month = not worth it. Also the no-alcohol rule makes this pretty much a non-starter for me.
Thanks for this informative article. My answer: NOPE! But then I wouldn’t even go on the pill for horrific menstrual pain and acne. You take it every day, you may faint anytime, and you have to STAY AWAY from alcohol and it takes weeks or months to kick in. I’d rather be a drunk spinster surrounded by cats.
