I don’t know, I think it works. If you’re going to burn a whole bunch of books, you would surely want the fire department on hand for safety and to prevent the fire from spreading. From there, it’s not a huge leap to, “Why don’t we just let the firefighters handle the book burning to make sure it’s safe.”
