Yeah, because people who feel things suck and we should attack them for it.

My only criticism of the dance sequence is that the actual event (not the practice) is just so god-damned visually captivating that I found it very difficult to pay attention to actually making Cloud perform his little boy band routine.
That scene gave me anxiety on a personal level
Not sure how this got past the first draft without mentioning the true star of the game, Shinra Middle Manager:
I thought the way Nathan and Elena’s marriage was depicted in A Thief’s End (and even Drake’s Deception) was really well done. And the strain it experienced felt very real and relatable despite the extraordinary circumstances causing much of it.
I noticed another fat character, a kid I think, over by the old folks home. I thought, how refreshing, a little change from all these slim and similar body types... immediately disappointed when I heard the dialogue start up about liking food.
Hey guys did you know the fat one likes food? Because I’m pretty sure he likes food. I know because he’s fat and only talks about food.
Unfortunately, capitalism actually suppresses this aspect of humanity, because we have to put all our efforts into our jobs and have little energy for actually creating or accomplishing what we desire.
Fucking over Walmart, Target, Best Buy and mom and pops? Hell, Amazon? Dude, you didn’t think your comment though before you posted it, did you?
lol, it has nothing to do with completeness.
Time to digest and refine stories makes a difference in part. Not just DLC but other devs takes too, such as Tales from the Borderlands is also way better then one could have hoped for.
Borderlands has to be one of the few (if not only) series where the DLC is consistently better than the game it comes out for.
Moss is the only one of those I’ve played, but it’s nice that it basically takes place in your lap. With Half-Life, they have a config that lets you sit and you can hit a button to stand. The compelling part of that HL is getting to physically do stuff you couldn’t otherwise do. Beat Saber is a ton of fun but your…
This is even more frustrating to read than just thinking they didn’t have a story. Or got distracted with a ton of other things. Or investors said no. They basically broke every rule of creating software.
My prescription is really strong in one eye over the other making 3D movies and VR impossible for me. My favorite game series: Half-Life. Thanks a lot Valve.
It’s interesting to think about HL3 in the light of writers like GRRM or Patrick Rothfuss, both of whom struggle to finish their (beloved) creations. In all these cases, there seems like an infection point was hit, where “getting it done” began to outweigh the beauty of the original creation; great art is a joy to…
So it sounds like they set themselves up for failure. Their goal was to make something groundbreaking like HL-1 and HL-2 when the goal really should have been to just finish up the stupid story arc. The "episode" moniker should have been enough to justify this to themselves. The previous episodes were just refinements…
Actually, they want to break off from the “west of the Cascades” people and form their own state called “Jefferson.” Probably to include southern Oregon around Medford and some bits of far Northern California.
A solid portion (or maybe even a majority, hard to say) of players will be experiencing this game on their TV, where they won’t be 18-24" away from the screen but instead sitting across the room. It’s a ridiculous issue and insane that it keeps coming up in AAA games, especially since it’s been an issue for this…
