I didn't say it was ALL good.
I didn't say it was ALL good.
Returns didn't really cohere, but there was some good stuff in there.
Agree the US is far from a true free market (and thank God for that). Disagree with the idea that freedom from CIA interference would have made it work. I mean, the USSR.
That's not exactly what the polls say, but close enough, fine. However, I think that number comes from people who have been taught to believe that ANY sort of government intervention is socialism, as opposed to honest to God Socialists. At least I hope so. Actual socialism has a…spotty record.
Well…maybe because there are potentially a lot of "reasonable Republicans", and about 20-30 socialists, tops.
I like Coke, but rarely drink it anymore due to needing to cut back on sugar.
I've read some of Kotzwinkle's later stuff, and I am just stunned he did this, as well as the Superman III novelization. I guess the dude needed the money. Can't blame him.
Harpoon 2. Went from "complex" to "need a degree in quantum mechanics to figure this thing out" in one generation. Dang.
I never watched the series, but I remember the original movie. It was one of those movies that was *this close* to being badass, but didn't stick the landing. The first two acts were cool, but then they just sort of ran around* stupidly in the third.
I've played a ridiculous amount of Overwatch. I'm finally getting a bit tired of it, but I can't say I didn't get my money's worth.
That's sort of the thing. There aren't really any politics in the first chapter. Not that I recall, anyway. He must have gotten to the second chapter, at least.
God forbid someone be intellectually coherent about their bitching.
The first chapter is just a battle scene. He's done grosser stuff in…pretty much all his movies.
John Roberts may well become a liberal hero. Something neither he or they expected.
Filipino, actually.
If we're lucky, he'll be more like Berlosconi.
She isn't kidnapped. She's just imprisoned. Yuuge difference.
Spacesuit isn't very Libertarian. But it is VERY nasty about whatever RAH thought was going on in education at the time.
No capes, though.
Then you get Pence. Crazy or evil, I'm not sure what is better. Or worse.
