This is the thing that never made sense to me. Humans are amazingly able to discriminate, its true, but why mutants as opposed to ALL super-beings? They're all incredibly dangerous.

The shoe part was worse.

Thank you, I read the article. But if the rule is "no politics" then it's not hard to see how stuff from a TV show is different from, I dunno, an actual current issue.

A little creepy maybe, but I'm not seeing the snark source here. Comparing these to minimum wage ads?

And that's the band with Ted Nugent in it. Ponder that for a while.

I like Scrum's.

Be careful what you wish for.

Fuck this comment/article style. Just fuck it right in the ass.

As long as they re-use all of Jenny Agutter's scenes, I'm willing to give it a chance.

2 Girls 2 Broke

That would be cool. But also, by definition, impossible. Joel cannot be associated in any way with coolness.

Fuck that. Maybe if we whine about it enough they'll put back the old one.

The whole first verse, for example (he's on the phone, the singer is in her room). In the second they

Ah, but she *doesn't* tell him that. She says that to herself. In the video of course, she had the "I love you" sign, but he doesn't see it until the dance. And while I agree of course that the singer wants the guy to dump the other girl to be with her, at no point does the singer say or do anything that I think

Hm. I have two problems with this Hatesong. The first is that the *song* does not express some of the things Heller hates, the video does. Also, even in the video, the good girl does not steal the bad girl's boyfriend. She just pines for him; *he* dumps the bad girl and goes after the good girl.
