His descriptions of the Ankh were wonderful. There was one line that went "one arrow landed in the river, where it stuck."

I haven't read every single Discworld book, but for my money, "Small Gods" was the densest of them by far. And I mean that as a compliment. There's a lot going on in there.
I personally feel that Small Gods, while very very good, is a bit unrepresentative of the series as a whole. And not just because of the setting.
YMMV. I just got tired of beings (planets!) showing up to be a punchline (or set one up) and then getting eaten/blow up/have a whale fall on them.
You will get nearly as many votes as there are books (nearly, because there are a few generally recognized duds). "Going Postal" is my sentimental favorite, because it's the second one I read, and it is REALLY funny.
I have to say I no longer care for the Hitchiker series. I read it in high school and loved most of it. Recently I read it again and quit most of the way through. I had forgotten just how mean-spirited it is.
The first Slimer *was* female.
Yo dawg…
That, and "Will this make money? Like, by the truckload?"
He doesn't. Could make good use of a Spock, though.
Aw, shucks.
Clearly, none of you have bothered to read "Hogwarts, A History".
Wrongo Libtard!
"Best" poutine sounds like one of those "tallest midget" contests.
They were good in those roles. Other things, maybe not.
Go rent Bowfinger.
I liked the setting for F:3 better, but the story and characters in F:NV were better.
I suggest it would go way past just making it hard. An actual girl blowing on your dick in 6th grade would made most males orgasm in seconds.
That would have been pretty cool.
