It was successful because of cartoon boobies and ultra-violence, not because of any theme or lack of same. And some of the segments work really well. The B-17 bit still freaks me out a little.

Pretty much. I should have gone when it was a trailer like the earlier commenter said. I'm not waiting three hours for brisket. You can drive to some amazing places and be back and done in that kind of time.
