I think the issue is that the hood falls off in a gentle curve, in contrast with the sharp corners in the back of the car. If they had sharpened the hood/grill angle, it would have much more of a hip, xB look to it.

Carnival and Royal Caribbean are very comparable. I’ve been on both and found that the biggest key is making sure you are on one of the newer ships and go at least 6 days. They have the best staff and entertainment.
