I always try to do long trips at night so the kids sleep in the car as much as possible. If you stop, they wake up and you have a much less pleasant drive.

Do it once a day for ten days instead, then you'll remember.

Really? I'm an Eagle too, and that shit is ingrained in my skull so hard I don't think I'll ever forget. I actually still use bowlines pretty often when I need to make a loop at the end of a rope, though according to this the figure eight should be used for that purpose. Both are easy to untie after tensioning.

Have you seen modern reliability comparisons? Fiat is still a distant last place.

No, the regular 924 was an entirely different engine, much smaller and less powerful than the 944. The 931 was a turbo version of that engine, with only a bit higher output than a standard 944. The 924S came much later and did use the 944 engine.

Those were only US spec I think.

It wouldn’t be the craziest Hyundai ever, but maybe close.

I just can’t get over how vanilla the 918 looks from every angle except the rear. The front and side views have nothing going on.

Until you try to buy performance tires, then realize you need the 17s if you want any selection.

I figure an aftermarket LSD runs around $1k, and the Bilsteins + strut brace would be under $1k. I’m willing to be the Club Edition package costs much more than $2k, so you still come out ahead, likely with a better LSD.

Anyone that has ever played a racing game has made that pass.

Part of Atlanta's problem is that flex-fuel vehicles also qualify for HOV lanes in Georgia. So everyone in there V8 SUV is allowed to use the lane also since they could theoretically fill-up with E85.

The spec sheet doesn't have any wow factor. Moderate price, moderate power, moderate weight. You have to have something for marketing to work with.

Yes. Those tools cost more than Harbor Freight and are far worse.

I think replying only ungrays that particular post. I believe you have to follow people to permanently ungray them.

FFTFY

After the brakes catch fire the 538 is well-done.

Using Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries is a death wish. I'm sure they're in a case, but if they get punctured or even just bent in a crash, they burn spectacularly. Most other Lithium chemistries are much less energetic when damaged and so they are chosen for safety. LiPo do have the best power to weight ratio, but

Oh, I can assure you there is a lot of wood. I've always loved the Morgan Aero, such a beautiful and classic design.

The R class is a maintenance nightmare apparently. I looked into them, but it sounds like the air suspension is made of tissue paper and the electronics were made with uninsulated wire. I would love to get an R500 instead of a regular minivan, but it doesn't sound justifiable. Maybe a Carmax warranty...
