I was saying that they were flying over people. You asked if that is a thing since they don't do it in Chicago.

I'm confuzzled. I was referring to Telsa, which doesn't have an engine...

The Thunderbirds were flying back-and-forth across the crowded beach in Ocean City, MD. It was awesome.

It does, you just don't notice because the gains are incremental. There is a mass-market car that can go 300 miles on a charge and is available with over 600 horsepower. Not too shabby.

I think the consensus is that Tesla abandoned the battery swapping idea. They announced and demonstrated it, now its been almost 2 years I think without even a mention.

One of the major factors for 'attractiveness' when judging another person's face is symmetry. I suspect this extends to other things, it just looks neat and tidy. I for one really like asymmetric cars. I thought that the Nissan Cube was actually kind of genius, removing the D-pillar would really improve blindspot

It's always cheaper to ship smaller things than larger things. Not much risk of damage when shipping raw materials either, whereas sub-assemblies will be much more fragile.

Why do they have to do things the same as the other hypercar makers? I know if I was going to spend this kind of money on a car I probably won't ever take to the track, I'd go for the ridiculous GT car instead of the ridiculous race car.

That steering wheel looks like it was purchased at Pep Boys. Looks like super cheap plastic compared to everything else in that interior.

Definitely look like IR LEDs to me. Probably for a nighttime HUD system.

This will make it even harder to drive while receiving road head. That's the last thing anyone needs.

It should have chekt itself before

SUVs were popular, but not the way they are now. Light trucks outnumber car sales now.

I'm not sure that is true, though. The 60's were the heyday of the muscle car wars, and by '89 emissions controls had choked everything just about to death and HP was just starting to go back up.

Did anyone else think that it was an S14 240SX while watching the video? Or am I just crazy?

If you look it from a bike point-of-view, torque is how hard you push down on the pedals. HP is torque times RPM, thus the total amount of work being done. Someone who can push on the pedals really hard will be able to accelerate better and won't need to change gears as often. Someone who can't push very hard but can

I agree that the jumping is easier, but the landing is much harder on a unicycle.

I have to disagree with the ME 262. While it did introduce the jet engine, it wasn't a complete game changer due to other issues.

When winter comes Europe is going to get pretty cold without all that Russian natural gas. At least that can sit in their cars to warm up.
