It was posted on Reddit's TIL subreddit and make the front page

"There's no Supreme Court excuse anymore!"

I have no idea what this is about even after watching the trailer, but I'm happy to see the Boyhood kid getting roles.

To be fair, the reviewer only watched the pilot and is basing her grade off of that, so it could get worse later on.

I watched the three Best Picture noms that I couldn't get to before they were announced: Fences, Lion, and Hacksaw Ridge. I liked them in that order. I also watched Code Unknown and The White Ribbon, which were perplexing but fascinating and I can't wait to watch more Haneke. And then I watched Do the Right Thing,

You, sir, are one bored individual!

That Billy Bragg, so braggadocious.

I honestly thought the snake was real. Nothing about it seemed fake at all, but it had to be. Technology is improving at such an expedient rate!

Damien Chazelle cast Ryan Gosling to fill the void of decent looking facial hair in his life.

The only thing I know about Lion is that the kid is the only good thing about it. I'm not surprised.

I remember at the beginning of 2016, it was only obits that were being posted in Newswire. In one of them someone made a comment like "is it going to be all deaths in 2016? 2 for 2 so far". Boy, if he knew.

Man, were you right.

I came away from that movie thinking "Okay, Hall is definitely going to get at least a nod for Best Actress for this". Sadly, it doesn't look that way.

One that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere is Christine. It's a fairly standard biopic, but Rebecca Hall gives a hell of a performance, and it offers insights on so many important issues like depression and sensationalism. By the same token, Kate Plays Christine is just as compelling and insightful. I'm disappointed

It premiered at Cannes in 2015, but it was officially released this year.

1. La La Land
2. Elle
3. Green Room
4. American Honey
5. Manchester by the Sea
6. 10 Cloverfield Lane
7. Everybody Wants Some!!
8. Moonlight
9. The Handmaiden
10. Deadpool

Most of it, but I just really like talking about movies.
