I just found it so much fun. Death Proof isn't very nuanced whereas the other two are, but I found it a lot more entertaining to watch.

I honestly thought it was a little boring. It didn't rise up to the craziness Inglourious Basterds or Kill Bill and while I respect how restrained it was, I prefer the absurdity of his later films.

I finished my viewing of all Tarantino films with Jackie Brown, Reservoir Dogs, and Death Proof. I had low expectations for the last one because it always seems to be at the very bottom of every ranked Tarantino list, and even Tarantino himself said it was his worst, but I actually liked it a lot better than the first

I don't know, I'm just judging from what I read scrolling down the AVC reviews for his movies (TH8, DU, IB) A lot of them seem to be negative.

I've just begun watching Tarantino films. I'd only seen Pulp Fiction before, but this weekend so far I've seen The Hateful Eight , Django Unchained, Inglourious Basterds, and Kill Bill. I expected to dislike them or feel "eh" at them at best because from what I'd read on these comments and other websites, the general

A lot of people don't like its ending, and probably for good reason, but I love Ruby Sparks as a whole. It's a lighthearted romantic comedy that blends in the right amount of grimness to make it insightful and witty.

Anything to do things getting in eyeballs: knives, bullets, pencils. I think Orphan Black started this for me, and now it squicks me every time I think of it.

I was hoping the lawyer reveal would be Elsbeth Tascioni, not because I don't love Cary but because Elsbeth is the best thing to happen to this show.

I'm firmly Anti-Rihanna.

For real. This gave me so much anxiety.

I think my favorite was:

I liked Mr. Robot too but I agree that it lost me multiple times. Maybe I'm just dumb, but all of the fsociety and hacker plot lines were just too complicated for me to fully comprehend. I wish it stuck more with the Shayla and Mr. Robot stories because those interested me a lot more.

I've been slowly becoming obsessed with St. Vincent. All of her music is so unique and awesome. I'm angry at my brother for not telling me about her earlier!

Oh shit, what a savage.

Awful scenery chewing beats fantastic, nuanced acting? Actually, sounds about right given that this the Golden Globes.

Kind of awkward when his wife looks like she could be one of his daughters.

But not Jon Hamm?!

The final scene with Emily Blunt and Benicio del Toro was what really cemented it as one of my favorite movies from 2015. Such an intense, thrilling feat. The fact that stuff like this is actually happening in Mexico makes it all the more scarier.

I watched Weekend after I saw you recommended it in the 45 Years review and I really liked it. I felt it was bittersweet and authentic; I hope a sequel is made where they reconcile because I can't handle that ending.

God, I'm so fucking excited for this next season.
