I watched The Guest and while I have to say I liked You're Next better, The Guest was super creepy and unnerving to me and Dan Stevens gives a hell of a performance. It was a thoroughly enjoyable thriller and the last five seconds excited the hell out of me, just as the aforementioned movie had.

I watched Mr. Robot and it was good but it got a little complicated for me. It was very well-acted, but towards the end, all of the fsociety storylines and everything became sort of hard for me to follow

What shows are you planning to watch?

Two things bug me: how Colborn's calling in Teresa's license plate was never brought up again, and how someone persistently calling Teresa's cell was never brought up again. The former seemed like such a pivotal moment that I expected it to be further investigated if nothing else, but it wasn't further mentioned at

Last semester I took a Film & Society class and it was probably the worst experience I've had in school so far. It was ultimately more focused on society rather than films. In fact, it was exactly like a history class - only that we watched a related movie after learning about a historical event. The teacher was a

Hey, I wanted to ask you a question. I've been on AV Club for two years now and not a day of my life has gone by since where I haven't read articles, reviews, etc on it. But I barely comment, especially on TV and movie reviews. I'm kind of scared to. I don't think I could articulate any sort of intellectual thoughts

The shot of Hanzee over of the fire made him look a lot like Killer BOB. By the way, Zahn McClarnon would be a perfect addition to the Twin Peaks revival IMO.

It definitely depends on your comfort level. If you like to spend to spend time on the computer and are comfortable with reading and following instructions from a computer screen, then online courses might be more suitable for you. It also helps if you’d like to learn at a slower or faster pace than what would be in

Yeah, ASL's a great language. I've taken four years of it and am currently TA'ing for an ASL 1 class. It wouldn't be much use for you in the UK, but from what I've seen BSL is also an interesting language. I hope you enjoy it if you decide to take some courses!

Do you know ASL?

I was the born the year it came out and probably because of that I hadn't heard of it at all (until I read the article). I'm really glad I watched it though and I hope you enjoy it! :)

Yeah, the narrator could be fun. It was more the text. It annoyed me how it constantly explained who people were for five episodes in a row. And the "previously on" sections in each episode kept starting with how Jane got pregnant, even though we already knew how.

Covering a few weeks:

I rewatched the pool party scenes and couldn't find anyone with a huge bushy beard (except for Josh of course!).

That was Jake Gyllenhaal in the studio, right? Because it totally looks like him if he was bald and had an enormously long beard: http://puu.sh/lTpg4/0ef8e78…

They used it in season one when Herb Kazzaz tells Bojack to "get the fuck out of my house". I wonder if they only allow one "fuck" per season.

Who were the crossovers?

Did anyone else think the Lady in Black was going to be the Angel of Death (Frances Conroy) from Asylum? It would've been cool, especially considering Murphy already cross-overed his show when Sister Mary Eunice showed up in season four. I guess Conroy isn't going to be in this season though :(

Holy shit, a Mad Max: Fury Road in space would be so awesome.

I'm planning on starting The X-Files soon, but before I do I'd like to know a couple questions, and if anyone could answer them I'd appreciate it a lot:
