This 30 for 30 really reminded me a lot of Nine for IX's The Diplomat, or at least the final third where it really focused on how politically difficult it was for these athletes to be allowed to leave their home countries to skate stateside.

Bonus points for the episode title.

Completely agree, almost felt like someone did the math wrong and was like oh snap we actually have one more episode to air before the wedding.

The music playing over the comeback montage was pretty much lifted from the Bad News Bears movie too.

Did the opening credits change, just the scene where Lip comes into the bathroom?

I think the 'mysterious' commenter on Jenna's blog is Lacey. I feel like in her mind the best way to repair the damage of the letter would be another indirect method like anonymously responding to a blog post. Also, 'home-wrecker' sounds like something she would say.

I didn't so much have a problem with the finale (I'm happy Electrolytes won) as much as I did with the episode leading up to it. I really missed the crew's getting to do their final 'original' routine where they got to essentially determine the music, theme, wardrobe, etc. (Who can forget Quest crew's amazing routine

Guess I should have known Prometheus spoilers were involved, silly me. Hope some of those statements don't completely alter the way I watch or enjoy the movie.

Overly excited that the AVClub included the Women's College World Series, not only do I enjoy TV series perpetually on the brink of cancellation but I also love sports that are no longer in the Olympics and barely get an air time, go figure…

I love Of Monsters and Men, saw them in NY last week, they put on a great live show too.

Yeah its a bummer to get a "rental copy" b/c I also like the bonus features but you are right - how many times is someone going to bother listening to commentary, that doesn't make the price of a DVD worth it. But that also doesn't mean I'm not interested in seeing that content.

I'm one of those weird disc only subscribers - my movie queue is full of movies I want to see rather than decide to see based on availability. While streaming is nice and all and I used it when the plans were one lower price I hate that Netflix views me as someone they can't wait to see leave or change my mind….

I'm glad Happy Endings got a season two pick-up. The opening scene was certainly the highlight of the episode for me. Although I was really hoping a cat would appear from a window or something during the end toast in Penny's new place.

did we really need Walmart's help
I never realized how complicated it was for me to purchase tickets online by myself from the comfort of my own home, I'm glad Walmart has stepped up to the challenge…
