Watched this game last night and asked my wife the same thing (she’s from San Diego). Apparently, it’s been a thing to wear trilby’s to their games.
Had this happen to me to. Wanted to test drive a car, got two blocks away and it ran out of gas. No big deal, luckily a sales manager drove by and recognized the car so didn't wait long.
