I love this!

My two cents: I do not think Rhiri/RiRi or whatever her name is, is a feminist icon for walking around naked. I would not put her up as an example of someone who is so cool and "doesn't give a f" consider her life involves domestic violence and some pretty heavy drug use... I think whoever is running her career is

When I was about 19 years old some guy left 4lbs of pot in our freezer "to hold on to" and then promptly ended up in jail. We made a huge batch of brownies with it (yes all 4 lbs) - we basically had an assembly line set up in our kitchen. You could smell the pot baking from down the street. We had a party and about 2

"Dubai's police force is said to be the most progressive amongst the Arab countries, with officers getting the proper education in law during training and women making up over half the force." is that straight off an official media release or what? Dubai is definitely NOT progressive in its treatment of women.

If AA/NA works for some people..GREAT. I find the fact that after 15 years off the stuff I should still consider and refer to myself as an "addict" kind of crappy. The black/white mentality of those groups are not conducive to free thinking - just reprogramming in my opinion. The chanting about "relapsing, chronic,

PETA - making people who actually don't do anything to make this world a better place feel superior since 1980.

Devons RUUULE!

There is so much wrong in what you write. EVERYONE has felt rejection, insecurity...felt inadequate in their life. Most people have felt that way MANY times. I have personally spent most of my life feeling inadequate, and I am a woman. The process you are failing to complete is that IT IS ABOUT YOU, not other people.

Great piece. I have struggled with this for years but in the end I always come back to: how can we know? For all I can tell we are just tiny cells bumping around in another giant organism that is the Universe. I can't imagine anyone really thinking they can have a definitive answer on our existence one way or another.

who is that Dan Bilzarian douchebag?

If you can afford CityHome, you can probably afford a bigger place. Just sayin'

Papa, is that you?

I am shamefully curious about articles like these, and love to wonder who they could be about. However, my first question to the author would be...WHY? What drives you to take a job like this and where do you see it taking you? What satisfaction does the job actually give you? I am not being facetious I am actually

I agree 100% & I want to like this a gazillion times.

I think perhaps because the goals they are pursuing are not the right goals but ones dictated by society, their own conditioning or superficial ideas of success. Personal realisation improvement as a goal is a different kettle of fish

I love this! Very true stuff. Thanks for putting into words like this: makes me want to get a cup of coffee with you and pick your brain.

PREACH IT! No kids for me either. As a late-in-life kid (my parents were 40 and having marriage troubles when they thought one more baby would do the marriage good; it didn't.) I always felt like I was in the way of my mom and dad enjoying their middle age years. I am so glad I never have to make anyone feel like

I enjoyed this interesting, insightful piece. Thanks, author, for keeping the quality up!
