Agreed, I remember thinking that Reamde felt a lot like a novelization of an action movie (in the best way) and would translate to that format pretty easily. I could picture Seveneves being great as well.

I’d imagine that whoever put him there could certainly get him back, but they already know they imprisoned him there and presumably aren’t inclined towards a rescue. We haven’t seen anything so far that suggests humanity has a robust manned interplanetary space program (nor confirmation that they don’t, do be fair),…
Point of order, Veidt’s prison appears to be one of the icy moons of Jupiter. That’s a good ways off even compared to Mars, so I don’t know how quickly his white-on-white corpse message will result in a rescue...
Is he morphing into Henry Rollins?
I think the obvious end point of season six is with Elizabeth drowning Boris Johnson in a toilet and then sailing off over the horizon at the head of a vast armada to retake the colonies.
What this show presupposes is, maybe they aren’t?
So I appreciate how this is going to sound, but I’d actually suggest starting with The Best of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds compilation. It’s from 1998 (Jesus, I’m old) so it doesn’t cover the last few (21!) years, but it’s it’s a great selection and it’s actually sequenced in a way that flows wonderfully as an instead…
And an understanding of the anti-goose stance of the townsfolk!
Forced perspective - Statham’s contract also dictates that he be positioned at least 30% closer to the camera so they appear to be of equal height.
Cutting this was clearly the right call, but Mantis in the background being completely confused by what’s happening almost makes it worthwhile for me...
Somewhere along the line I forgot that the idea the premise would be that Picard had retired to travel the galaxy pursuing his interest in space archeology but every week he would get wrangled into solving a local mystery was just a joke from Twitter, and now I’m incredibly disappointed that it’s not real.
I have a surprising number of coworkers who routinely walk up behind me and start talking to me when I have my (large and conspicuous) headphones on. I eventually started waiting for them to finish talking before pausing whatever I was listening to, removing my headphones, and then politely asking them to please start…
My family picked this up at Christmas after playing the original regularly through the last year. We just finished the final chapter yesterday and loved it start to finish. I spent all day wanting to talk to people about it, but not wanting to spoil anything for anyone who might play it in the future.

One more for the heap, Amazon is supposedly working on an adaptation of the Three Body Problem trilogy:
I think what you had there was a vision of the finale of season 4.
Hm. When I posted that it included a youtube link to the video including the banjo-based Ode to Joy theme from RA. With the link missing it just seems creepy, so thanks, Kinja!
On the internet, you’re never alone:
I finally got out to see this last night and also thought the end exposition seemed a bit unnecessary, but after sitting through the credits (in case there was a stinger for the next feature in the Hereditary cinematic universe) I came out of the theater to find almost everyone else who’d been in there gathered…
I know I’m commenting on a four-year-old review which was itself written 9 years after the show in question aired and literally nobody will ever see this, but man - the perfect continuity on Hurley’s steadily-growing sweat stains on his shirt through the whole airport sequence is really a remarkable thing.
It would be rude to stare, just ignore him!
