See? Green New Deal is dangerous. Thanks AOC.

It’s actually a thing, though; any idiot can call-up the police department and request for road closures and such.

Wow, I’ve actually been to Luling. Great BBQ.

You should give a warning for such a retarded take.

They aren’t perfect. But they aren’t dumb either. The speed and the mattress have real value. I sleep under sheets and blankets every night and if we are having a long day on a trail or road, we can put up the tent in a few minutes and climb in for a nap and take it down just as fast.

I’d be more excited about this if the Canyon/Colorado owner’s manual didn’t specifically admonish the owner not to use any kind of slide-in camper.

man.... getting to whole foods has gotten rough I take it.  Would make for hell of a park service truck, wonder what they use.

I must say that picture with the table and chairs, shaded by the awning, rooftop tent open, ladder down, is very compelling. This isn’t my scene AT ALL, but I see the appeal.

How is this a concept? They took one of their trucks and stuck a bunch of camping shit on it.

Overlanding” vehicles are such hypercapitalist nonsense. It’s just car camping. Just buy a used SUV and $1000 of camping gear. Entire family is good to go.

This will make for a very comfortable setup at the kids’ soccer practice.

Rooftop tents are dumb

The Subaru RX. Not WRX, but the WRX’s grandfather.

Jeep Wrangler. Sorry, I’ve tried to like it. But I can’t. I find it useless at almost everything. I just don’t know why it’s so popular. For running trails sure, but literally anything else? It sucks.

Miata

Now, I’m not talking about it’s offroad prowess which stands for itself -- and is often how the press tests it as well. Reality is people pay stupid amounts of money for something they will never take offroad, just for looks.

Changli. Import from China. Anyone here ever hear of it?

Yup, that extra 2 seconds to snap in is a real pain in the ass I tell ya’

What you said is kinda blaming the victim here... even if the driver wasn’t signalling a turn the car slowing down with its brake lights on was more than enough to alert anybody behind to slow down so it’s 100% the truck driver’s fault.

I hope he sues the city and gets a big ass settlement.
