I don’t trust them, but I do like them as an additional tool to help me drive safely. Driving is like a chess game to me, in trying to anticipate what things around me will do, so if I have cameras to help me get a better view than the mirror provides, I like that, but nothing is better than turning your head.

None of my cars have any cameras, but I still turn to check my blind spot even though I have my mirrors adjusted “right”. I can track a vehicle from the rear-view to the side-view to my periphery without turning my head. I still turn to check.

The base model EV2 is twice the price of a base Cybertruck, and a fully tricked out Cybertruck with Autopilot and triple motors is still cheaper than the base model. I’m sure Tesla will be fine.

Why does it need to look mean? The whole “every vehicle needs to look pissed” thing is WAAAAY overdone. It looks like a Honda, and looks perfectly fine to me. Ultimately, it IS a Pilot with an open bed, so why shouldn’t it look like that?
