Automatic belts were used when the requirement was “passive restraint” and carmakers were fighting using airbags. Which, most of them did fight.

Or just ban air travel! That would 100% stop the asshole-on-a-plane problem!

Passengers on gurneys could be stacked like cordwood.

Plenty of people can have a drink or two or 18 and not turn into an asshole.

Did you actually think these people are more fragile than some random Texan suburbanite?

Once they figure it out, the solution will be posted as a slideshow.

If I understand the gist of your question, you seem to be suggesting that a super-fit, low-body-fat, well-nourished and professionally-trained world-class athlete would be worse at managing their core temperature than a recreational player, who’s probably playing with a higher heart rate in their matches than an elite

“Extreme heat.” Or as most people in Texas and several other states call it, another summer day.

I listen to NPR when I’m in the car. Every hour break they list off the names of the big-time donors, “NPR is made possible by ..., and listeners like you.”

My first boss in the Army had a slightly newer version of this car, maybe an ‘81 or ‘82.

The content creators had no say in what ads would be presented with their content? Heavens to Betsy, let me clutch my pearls!!

LOL ... any of y’all on G/O Media complaining about ads. I had to click to close a Discover ad just to read this post. LMFAO

You’ll notice I said “if you have decent insurance.” It’s a key test for this situation. If your insurance raises your rates for filing a claim when you’re not at fault, you’ve failed that test.

If you have decent car insurance with comp and collision, which, I’m assuming the owners had since it’s a new car, just file a claim on your insurance. Yes the dealership is at fault. Yes the other driver is at fault.

One more thing you can do with DropBox: be frustrated because your corporate IT dept blocks access.

People like you would be happier in a HOA neighborhood, or on a several-acre plot in an unincorporated area.

Yep. It might be dismissed on lack of standing or some vile law protecting gun makers from lawsuits, but not because it’s unconstitutional.

That’s the part I don’t understand. A lawsuit is a civil matter between private parties. If I sue Colt for making the AR-15 that put a hole in my roof, how is the government infringing the right to keep and bear arms?

Cops don’t have to know the law, but gas station clerks have to be able to tell if someone is drunk.

In mint condition as it rolled off the lot, its 1980 MSRP of $6,595 translates to over $20,000 in 2021 dollars.
