I had a Tamiya Frog that held up respectably against the RC-10s at our club track. Never beat ‘em, but I could hold my budget-racer head up at the end of the B main.
But I’m continually dismayed by just the sheer amount of Depraved Indifference.
Meeting in the middle is great, in theory. But, where is “the middle” between, “we want all of your race dead because of your race” and “please don’t kill me just for existing” ?
Time to work up a plausible reason for it to catch fire and sink where it is so the crew can abandon ship and go home. Let the insurance companies take their sweet time arguing about who owes who how much, but let the crew GTFO.

Flippers and middlemen are the natural offspring of the free market. As long as something is in limited supply there will be those who buy it and sell it at a markup. Limited supply is the problem - Ford can build more Broncos and this problem will go away.
This. Assuming it was a SCA authorized pilot at the helm, why isn’t the pilot being held accountable?
If you have a stainless steel carafe, a bunch of denture cleaning tablets will remove that coffee residue. Ours takes two rounds of cleaning with 6 generic grocery store denture tablets every 3 weeks or so.
