They are banning the selling of NEW vehicles only. You can still drive your old dinosaur around if you choose to.

I’d rather have a Tesla with AP engaged hurling towards me than a redneck in a Ford Mustang leaving a cars and coffee. Also, I have yet to see any reports where AP killed other drivers/pedestrians. In fact, I think there have only been 3 deaths of drivers who had AP engaged, and the one thing in common they shares

I could go on all day about how much I love this car and that it’s the best car I’ve ever owned, as can any other Tesla owner. I am a tech geek. I have always been a car guy and have owned many sports cars over the years (I still have a M4 and a S2000, although I don’t drive them much anymore). This is by far the best

This 100%. Over 12 billion miles of autonomous miles so far and only 3 deaths, all of which were not paying attention.

Non-tech people do not see the value in Tesla, Much like they didn’t see the value in the original iPhone. The technology is the #1 reason that I bought a Tesla.

I’ll take “That’s the stock market” for $500.

Whether it’s someone having a stroke or heart attack behind the wheel or falling asleep, I’m willing to bet it has saved more people than the hand full of people it has “killed” (Those of who were not paying attention to the road”).

I am willing to bet that 99.9% of Tesla owners are not unsuspecting or unwilling participants of AP. The car comes with the setting off by default and warns you when you enable it and every time you use it. Your argument is invalid.

I own a Tesla and bought it for the technology. They are a tech company who just happens to make cars IMO.

There are a lot of people in the internet who speak before researching the facts. Also, Their hate for Tesla is irrational and confusing to say the least.

Panasonic makes the battery cells...Tesla makes the battery packs.

Not to mention Tesla is producing their own chips for autonomous driving as well now.

There is more to batteries than you may think. There are factors such as type of cells, cell densities, cooling methods, battery management, software (how to use the battery most efficiently), rate of degradation, availability, etc. Right now, Tesla has the lead. Tesla’s are showing minimal degradation over 100k

The difference is no one wants an EV from anyone else.

Autopilot was engaged in less than a handful of deadly accidents. In all of those accidents, the driver was not paying attention. I’m willing to bet that Autopilot has saved more lives than it has taken.

What the legacy car companies can’t seem to figure out is why Tesla is so appealing. It’s not the fact that they are EV’s. It’s the technology, sales model, charging infrastructure, OTA updates, and “cool factor”, just to name a few. The kids growing up right now think that Tesla is the coolest thing since sliced

Looks like a dinosaur that runs on dead dinosaurs.

Every few years they do this. It equates to viewers I guess. The people that actually watch the news and get their news from legacy news outlets (ABC, NBC, CNN, Fox News, etc.) are the ones to blame for keeping these outlets alive.

I didn’t wear a watch before the Apple Watch. I appreciate the Apple ecosystem, especially after working in IT for many years primarily on Microsoft products. At one time, Apple products and software seemed extremely polished compared to their competition. Certainly not the case to that extent these days but I still

Did someone at Apple hurt you?
