That works too. While I was going through school, most people in my program got internships or worked for the university. Can't say I knew anyone that worked at Best Buy.

That looks delicious.

You sir, are way off. The "Geek Squad" is more like, "I can't get a real job, so I'm working at Best Buy Squad". Far, far from IT pros.

Way to be harsh man. We can work 60 hour weeks too, difference is, we don't get paid for those extra hours. We don't have money for nice cars either, because most of us are paying off student loans for 15 years or more.

Honestly, those of us in computer related fields wouldn't have an official car. Many don't care what they drive (I would be an exception to that, I'm posting here aren't I?), so long as it gets them from point A to point B. Looking out my window in to the parking lot, I see a lot of diversity. With that being said,

"It's a grand, noble idea, and it's made possible via some amazing technical feats, such as scanning 1000 pages per hour via some elaborate scanning setup, which I'm picturing as having dozens of whirling, gleaming metal arms."

The exact moment I began to read this story, I got an email from Best Buy: "Midnight Sale One Night Only — Online Only"

My initial thought for b: "Well that's easy"

From now on I will be using the terms PI Number and AT Machine.

This bothers me as well, especially considering that more devices use the micro.

For the past two years, I've called to cancel xbox live, and they've given me a discount. This year, they gave me a year subscription for $39.99. That's $20 off the normal yearly price, and it comes to just over $3 a month, not bad at all.

My university also had a maximum of 8 characters for passwords, they also allowed unlimited login attempts, and never forced a user to change their password. It was an absolute joke.

Damnit Nibbles!

I second the Ranger! Mine is just over 10 years old and still looks like it could roll off a production line.

Its working great for me, same version, same OS

I've raced an 05 and an 08 Trailblazer, both with the 4.2L. My 01 Ranger with the 4.0 smoked both of them.

You're behind. FF is on 7.0.1

StalePhish, I'm not sure if you are with me or against me here. Your use of "however", and the fact that I have time to read Jalopnik, leads me to believe you are defending the subway workers and that their pay is justified. However, the fact that software engineers face many different mentally stimulating problems

That's what I'm saying. One would think a software engineer would make more than a subway worker, I guess not. They probably don't have massive student loans to be paying off either.

I suppose it was wrong to say it was grammatically incorrect. While the sentence structure isn't wrong, it doesn't accurately represent the idea trying to be expressed. Just because we understand what was trying to be said doesn't mean someone without knowledge of the subject would understand. Throughout both high
