Wasn’t this more like LA Law with superheroes...?

My first thought at seeing the image was of the Sea Devils from Doctor Who:

What, no love for Brian Keith as the Soviet Premiere...?

Um, you mean Tommy James and the Shondells, don’t you...?

I especially recommend the two shorts she narrates on the SF and fantasy genres

Now you’re just trying to rib us, aren’t you...?

Excellent! Thanks for the news of this!

I believe Marvel got them, or at the least got the rights to a reprint that took place a couple of years ago. They promised more Marvelman with Neil Gaiman doing a follow-up to his last arc, but that’s been a no-show for a while now.

Well, Disney did buy the Muppets all those years ago, so it makes sense that they’d want to complete the set...

There’s an option that’s both not brought up here and somewhat likely: What if you get into an altercation with a celebrity and manage to be victorious?

You certainly can’t sue the other person for losing; if anything, you might owe them money for damages you caused.

And if the celebrity is someone who has a lot of

Considering it was for a prop on the wall for a TV show in the background, they probably wern’t engaging in that tight a level of quality control...

I read the headline, and part of me whispers, “So, is this going to finally happen...?”

“Threat”? Oh come on...

Not to be the one to spit in the punch bowl, but mantises are actually very helpful, in that they go after flies, mosquitoes, and all kinds of locusts.

There were stories told since the mod-20th Century that killing these insects was against the law in many states, which were just not true, and

There’s also a good QAnon piece in WaPo as well:

Then tell me who Betsy DeVos is in power to serve.

Finally, Delle and D’avin turn Johnny ‘Hullen’ in a clip from next week’s episode, “Johnny Dangerously.”

Assuming this is one of the assets Disney gets in the purchase of Fox?

And if that’s so, does that make (all forms of) Buffy a Disney Princess...?

Exactly the point. Getting mixed units in ad hoc or special op configurations did happen, so it makes sense and feels true to the period when you see it in films, while having a formal operation with extensive planning by bigoted commanders that ignores this nasty aspect of how we fought just takes you out of the sense

Frankly, I’d love to see the explanation; if it’s a good one, that would help open up a lot more films looking at periods like this where there’s not enough representation. We need good answer to questions like this, frankly.

Another fun fact: The US Army did not have “mixed” units serving in WWII, and the only African-American paratrooper unit, the 555th PIB, didn’t make it over for Overlord.

Which means there’s going to have to be a VERY good explanation for the protagonist we see in the trailer to be present...
